The Beginning
Koontz Furniture was founded with a simple promise: work diligently to ensure customer satisfaction. For over 100 years, that promise has guided everything we do. From our very first customers to families today, we've remained committed to finding exactly the right pieces for our clients' homes.
A New Home
We relocated to our current home at South Pine Avenue in Ocala. This iconic location became our flagship showroom, showcasing the finest furniture and design across three generations of Ocala's most distinguished homes and offices. The showroom remains a cornerstone of our community today.
Design Studio Expansion
As custom work became increasingly important to our clients, we established our dedicated Design Studio. Specializing in window treatments, draperies, wallcoverings, and custom upholstery, the studio transformed how we serve our community. Today, nearly 60% of our sales are custom-built pieces tailored to each client's vision.
