| Michael Koontz |
Michael, a native of Ocala and the owner of Koontz Company has grown up in the furniture business. As a designer he has been featured in Ocala Magazine, Southern Living, Florida Design, and Ocala Style. He works with clients all over the United States and specializes in helping others find their own "style". He believes in supporting the community, Koontz company proudly sponsors the Koontz Girls Golf Classic and Michael is the founder of H.U.G.S Chairities Inc. | Jill McGookey |
Jill McGookey graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Interior Design. She has worked in residential and commercial interiors for over twenty years. She has been an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers for fourteen years. Jill left her own design business in Ohio before joining the Koontz Co. staff in 1996.
Jill prides herself in being diversified, and she loves the challenge of different ideas. She enjoys design that is a bit unusual. Jill is currently working on a large formal French home with antiques and custom designs. She recently completed the interior of a small, contemporary model home at Woodfields Crossing in Ocala that was selected Best of Category in the Ocala Parade of Homes. Her Parade Homes and Designer Show Houses have previously won Best of Show and Honorable Mention.

| David Gadlage |
David Gadlage has been pleasing customers of Koontz Co. since 1980. The best compliments come from his customers who, "just love David," and swear they couldn't have done it without him. The homes of his clients have been featured in national and regional publications including Southern Living,Bathroom Trends and Log Cabin. His own home was featured on the cover of Southern Living Kitchen and Bath design book.
David works throughout Florida from Key West to Jacksonville. He welcomes commercial work and has done model homes, offices, and sorority houses, along with horse farms and sea-side condominiums. Though he likes restorations and renovations, he appreciates the opportunity to work on a new home from the planning-on-paper stage throughout construction to the day of the open house party. | Carol Ruef |
Carol Ruef studied Interior Design at Brooks College in Long Beach California. After she graduated she accepted a position at Boris Kroll Fabrics at the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles. She moved to Florida and began working at Koontz Co in 1993, she took a short hiatus to raise her two sons and came back to Koontz Co in 2005. Carol is head of the department handling custom work, fabrics, custom draperies, bedspreads, pillows, reupholstering, wall coverings, and faux finishing. "You name it, we can get it done."

| Danielle Marciano |
Danielle Marciano, a native of Ocala, is relatively new to Koontz Co., arriving in 2005. She is an up and coming talent. She was recently featured on the cover of Ocala Style Magazine along with an article on the transformation of a girl's bedroom in the magazine's Design Dilemma Series. Danielle graduated high school with high honors and never looked back, receiving a Fine Arts Degree in Theater Performance (she was in the Miss Florida competition) and an Associates of Science Degree in Interior design. She likes to work in a variety of styles and palettes, reflecting the taste and preferences of the people with whom she works. She is fun and funny, and her clients love the process of working with her as well as the finished product- a room that reflects their dream.  Mak Koontz is the youngest of Micheal Koontz's three sons. He has worked at Koontz Company for the majority of his life from early teen years to present day. Mak has experience in delivery,customer service, warehouse management and sales. | Barbara Robertson |
Barbara was born and raised in Ocala. She spent many years living and traveling abroad, but returned to her roots to raise her family.
Barbara joined the Koontz Co. family in 2004 and feels she has found where she was meant to be. She loves working with people to help them achieve the look and life-style they are after, and becoming their friends along the way.
